Weeks 24 and 25

Week 24

*Week 25*

Total Weight Gain: About 15 pounds.

Maternity Clothes: Mostly! The only things I wear that aren’t maternity are some gym shorts, tanks, and pajamas.

Stretch Marks: Nope. Not yet at least! Still crossing my fingers that they don’t show up.

Sleep: I’ve been sleeping pretty good. I get up around 5:30 or 6:00 every morning but I’m a morning person so I don’t mind. The only time I wake up with leg cramps is when I’ve been on my feet a lot that day.

Best Moment in the past 2 weeks: When Jerrub surprised us and came home!!
The Story- I was sitting on my back porch in Memphis with my parents at their house. We all of a sudden heard a knock on the gate, which was really odd because usually people just walk right in. Who would be knocking on the fence? So for whatever reason, I am the one (luckily) that decided to get up and go check. I peaked through the crack of the fence and had to take a double look (one, because my husband has decided to grow a beard while in the Middle East…which I actually love and two, because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing). Jerrub was home!!! I immediately opened the gate and started crying. The first thing that I could get out of my mouth was “How long are you here for?” And to make my evening even better, he told me it was for good! I no longer had to wait 8 more weeks, so that was by far the best moment. And then he felt Raelynn kick soon after being home which was great as well 🙂

Miss Anything: Not really?!

Movement: Lots of movement! I love every time I feel it too. It’s like it never gets old.

Food Cravings: Sweets!

Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope. I feel great!

Complications: My thyroid was a little high at my 24 week check up so I was put on medicine to help with that. Hopefully it goes down and isn’t a problem post-pregnancy.

Belly Button In or Out: In. But I can see it trying to make it’s way out.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy!

Looking Forward To: My first baby shower in a couple of weeks!
